Nechama Sarah Gila is an authoress of kaballistic books, a spiritual healer, an artist and a harpist. She has developed a method of movement meditations and visualizations based on her work. She holds a Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi degree in Cultural Anthropology with a minor in Art History. After her world travels, directed by an unconscious search for her own tribe, she came to Israel where she attended yeshivas in Safed and Jerusalem. She was inspired to undertake a serious study of the Torah and its commentaries on the twelve tribes of Israel and their relationship to the created world.
Thus Nechama wrote The Twelve Dimensions of Israel and The Princess of Dan and most recently Israel and the Seventy Dimensions of the World which evolved from scholarly research into the essence of Israel’s relationship with humanity. This book offers a refreshing look at a sensitive topic, based on the wisdom of the Torah and its hidden light, the Kabbalah. Nechama lives in Moshav Taoz, 40 minutes from Jerusalem, where she continues to study, write, conduct private healing retreats, teach, paint, and play the harp. She has produced two instrumental harp cassettes: The Twelve Dimensions of Israel, Medley of the Soul, and one instrumental harp CD, Israel and the World in Harmony.
